Shared tennis court open April-October. Steeped in romance, drama, and mystery, and positioned in front of a stunning backdrop which could be mistaken for a Mediterranean paradise, the remains and surrounding area of the castle are truly mesmerising. Sarah and James, 19 Oct We have had a lovely relaxing week. Really quiet and peaceful which was very welcome as we really needed a break following months at work! Travel cot and high chair on request. The kitchen was well equipped and had all appliances from dishwaser, washing machine to the all important bottle opener.

The lodge was stunning and had everything you need for a stress free holiday. Gold and Silver lodges are available; Gold lodges offer slightly better views. A lovely spacious lodge and real home from home. Gill, 27 Dec We chose the lodge for our yearly reunion with a couple from Banbury and another couple from Worthing. On my list to book again. Enjoyed our stay at the lodge and would love to come again.

There is also an ancient gaol house which used to house debtors and is nowadays open to the public as a museum, offering a fascinating insight into past life in Bodmin town. The owners have thought of everything, from towels for the dogs to a bottle of bubbly, chocs and cream teas for us. The owners are a genuine pleasure to deal with. Many thanks Caroline Wilson, 30 Apr The upside down lodge is delightful. Stunning decor, extremely well equipped with everything from microwave to steamer to slow cooker. Why not consider one of our lodges for sale?

Caervallack Lodge, Cornwall book

The owners have thought of everything, from towels for the dogs to a bottle of bubbly, chocs and Caervallack Lodge teas for us. Very well situated to visit lots of places. Maureen the caretaker was very nice and we have no complaints about her. Can't comment on the restaurant or pool as never used.

From toddlers to grandparents, all ages will love discovering our reverse living Scandi-style homes and the acre estate in which they sit. Breakfast and dinner are prepared as if they were Caervallack Lodge for a family member Ross United Kingdom Good access, parking and room had recently been refurbished.

Gerald United Kingdom If you are looking for a genuine family run hotel, with staff who actually care about your stay All in all a wonderful holiday, thanks in no small part from your lovely holiday lodge.

The town itself has an impressive church of St Petroc which is steeped in history. It was quiet during the public swim times and also had lovely warm water and easy to get the little one dry on the pool side in the warmth.

Centrally located for travel to key places. Today you can enjoy a guided tour of the mill, discover more about the historic machinery, and even purchase beautiful Cornish jewellery which has been crafted on site.

On my list to book again. Mevagissey lovely. There is also a monument to Sir Walter Raleigh Gilbert, a 44ft tall obelisk which stands proud at the summit.

Many thanks. The site is home to the iconic Towanroath Shaft engine house — a famous landmark which is often featured on local greeting cards, postcards, calendars, and even television programmes. The lodge is in a lovely quiet position and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evenings.

Steeped in romance, drama, and mystery, and positioned in front of a stunning backdrop which could be mistaken for a Mediterranean paradise, the remains and surrounding area of the castle are truly mesmerising.

The lodge was a fantastic and comfortable base for us to travel from. Great location for lots of nearby attractions, Tintagel, Eden project, Tavistock market, cotehele, Tamar trail, Dartmoor and train trip to Plymouth from Gunnislake.

Up above the town on the top of the hill is the 83 acre Bodmin Beacon Local Nature Reserve, an expanse of open moorland where wildlife can be observed in its natural habitat, a perfect place to walk and take in the fresh Cornish air.

The bedrooms were a great size and with two bathrooms - it made life easy with 5 of us. The village shop, cafe and pub were very convenient.

The lodge has been perfect for exploring the area, and is very clean and comfortable. Wheal Coates Cornwall has a rich history of mining and Wheal Coates tin mine opened in and remained in use until We didn't eat in the pub as had meals in the lodge, but it seemed ok in there.

The kitchen was well equipped and had all appliances from dishwaser, washing machine to the all important bottle opener. We also have lodges with hot tubs and dog friendly Lodges.

The white timber interiors evoke that feeling of being by the sea, and are light and airy. Would highly recommend the Lodge to anyone.Bodmin Lodges & Log Cabins.
